Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) Data API now offers Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 validated endpoints. FIPS 140-2 is a U.S. and Canadian government standard that specifies the security requirements for cryptographic modules that protect sensitive information. If you require use of FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic modules, you can now do so with RDS Data API.
