Amazon RDS Performance Insights now supports new API endpoints - devamazonaws.blogspot.com

Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) Performance Insights is a database performance tuning and monitoring feature of RDS and Aurora that helps you quickly assess the load on your database and determine when and where to take action. One way to view Performance Insights data is in the AWS Management Console. Performance Insights also provides a public API so that you can query your own data. We are now launching three new API endpoints: GetResourceMetadata, ListAvailableResourceDimensions, and ListAvailableResourceMetrics. These new APIs provide programmatic access to metadata about the metrics collected by Performance Insights. This makes it easier to build richer, more dynamic integrations into your monitoring tool or platform of choice. To learn more about Performance Insights APIs, read “Retrieving metrics with the Performance Insights API”.
